Riesling (24 hour whole cluster maceration) and Chardonnay (direct press) from Cienega Valley, California; 36 hour cold soak in tank followed by spontaneous fermentation in old oak, then aged in neutral oak sur lie; medium bodied and dry with notes of tropical fruit (lychee and papaya), white cherry, and red berries, with hints of Brazil nuts and hay, zippy acidity, and an opulent finish. Organic and loves air.
