Return Policy
New York State’s Liquor Authority only allows us to accept returns on opened bottles of wines and sake that are defective. For any such defective returns we can offer a replacement of the same item or a refund with a valid receipt. We cannot honor a return without being in possession of the defective bottle. The Unfiltered Staff will then confirm/determine if a bottle is defective. Any wines that are five years or older are purchased at the Buyer’s risk and not subject to refund or return. We do not accept returns on spirits; all sales on spirits are final.
We will accept returns on unopened bottles of wines and sake with original sales receipt for a full refund within 7 days of purchase. Proper storage is integral to the quality of wines and sake; after sale we are not in control of an item’s storage, and as such we cannot issue a refund for wines or sake after the 7 day grace period.
To return an open or unopened wine, bring your item to the store within 7 days of purchase along with your original sales receipt.
