Sparkling hard apple cider from Alsace, France; medium bodied and dry, funky but approachable with notes of dried apricot and bruised cantaloupe, subtle notes of hops, with medium acid, and a touch of brett (Band-Aid but in a good way) on the finish. Organic. Doesn't keep its bubbles for a long time, but I found that very appealing!
“Papé” cider comes from the orchard of Farid’s grandfather located at L’Aigle in Normandy. This is a blend of 8 different varietals that make up the whole orchard.
