Made from 100% Salmiana agave (an agave rich in fatty acids and esters which may turn cloudy when exposed to cold temperatures) in Guanajuato, Mexico, this savory mezcal is light to medium in body with notes of white street corn, wet charcoal, jalapeño pepper, lime citrus, and mashed potatoes with sour cream. The texture is smooth and clean and fresh herbs linger on the finish. Lucy Pistolas is made without additives or coloring. The agave salmiana is matured for 10-12 years before being slow-cooked in above-groud ovens.
