Pinot Grigio from Südtirol-Alto Adige, Italy; light to medium bodied and dry, mineral driven with some white flowers and stone fruit, pear and green apple, with subtle notes of under-ripe melon and lemon citrus, with medium plus acid and a long minerally finish.
The grapes used to make this wine are harvested at 300m ASL from vineyards located high above the town of Terlan. Fermentation is temperature controlled in stainless steel tanks and the wine is aged on the lees for 6 months.
