Antão Vaz, Roupeiro, Perrum, and Manteúdo from Alentejo, Porugal; all in clay amphora (Talha); medium to medium plus bodied and dry with notes of umami, dried tomato, tomato paste, ripe blackberry, black plum, coco, dried leaves, saline, and dried herbs, with deep undertones, medium plus acidity, dry tannins, and lingering earth on the finish. Organic, no added SO2. This wines loves air and drinks best on Day 2, or perhaps a decant would suffice. It would be incredible with some grilled fish and stewed tomatoes!
