Hailing from the Fukushima Prefecture in Japan, this fruity sake is made from the Yume no Kaori strain of rice that is milled to 60%. It's medium bodied with notes of apple, banana bread, wildflowers, and white pepper, with juicy medium plus acidity and a lush texture. "Nakadori" is sake that just uses the middle press of sake without blending in the brash flavors of the initial " arabashiri" that first comes off the press or the slightly bitter flavors at the end (the tails).
