Chardonnay from the village of Les Vernois, Côtes du Jura AOC, France; medium plus bodied and dry with notes of buttered corn, baked almond coissant, Anjou pear, and flan, with prominent minerality, slightly oxidative undertones, medium acidity, and a subtly pithy, structured finish. Organic; fermented in stainless steel and aged in sandstone jars.
