70% Grenache, 16% Mourvèdre, 8% Syrah, 4% Cinsault, and 2% Clairette from Châteaneuf-du-Pape, Southern Rhône Valley, France; medium to medium plus bodied and dry with notes of dried fig, cherry fruit leather, meat, smoke, cocoa, and wet mushroom, with earthy/forest undertones, medium plus acidity, and soft dry tannins. Organic, Biodynamic, and Vegan.

Grapes grow in 50% red clay & pebbles and 50% sand & silt soils from 60 year old vines. Grapes are hand-harvested, 80% are destemmed with the remaining 20% left whole cluster. Fermentation takes place in concrete vat, with an additional 18 months of aging in concrete eggs. Wine is unfined and lightly filtered, and bottled on a fruit day during a waning moon.
