80% Grenache and 20% Syrah from declassified Vacqueyras, Southern Rhône, Rhône Valley, France; all varieties are feremented and aged separately in neutral oak casks then blended in tank before bottling; medium to medium plus bodied and dry with notes of ripe strawberry, red cherry, fig, and raspberry, hints of black plum and blackcurrant, layers of black pepper, leather, cinnamom, rose petals, and violets, with savory/herbal undertones, balanced oak lends silky tannins, with balanced acidity, and lingering spice on the finish. This wine has serious finesse and loves air, and with it comes more notes of dried fruits, meat, and evolved tannins. Organic and Sustainable

Forty hectares of vineyards situated in the Vacqueyras area a few kilometers north
of Sarrians were purchased by the Reynaud family in 1935. The old maison is flanked
on both sides by tall towers (hence Des Tours), Emmanuel took over this Château
from his father Bernard (Jacques\' brother) in 1989. The vineyards are tended with
organic methods, manually plowed, harvested much later than other producers (we have this to thank for the notes of deep, ripe fruit!), and centered around a reverence for old-vine Grenache. Grenache planted in 1955, Syrah planted between 1981-1996 on a sandy, west-facing vineyard.
