"Made from 100% Sangiovese, this fresh and juicy Rosato hails from Umbria, the only landlocked Province in Italy. Italian rosés are quickly becoming my favorite style, as they tend to be darker and have some grip. I found this one to be about mid-weight with all the red fruit vibes. Cherry, strawberry, raspberry fruits shine with some subdued salty, savory, sesame rice cracker notes. Its tart finish lends structure and incredible versatility when pairing with food. Any grilled vegetable (I had it with grilled eggplant and it was really tasty) would be great, and it has tannin that can stand up to chicken, pork, and some lean red meats. This is also a PERFECT pasta and pizza wine! Drink chilled."
