Pinot Noir from Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, Western Cape, South Africa; light bodied and dry, savory with notes of black cherry, mocha, licorice, and meat, with hints of smoke, white pepper, and eucalyptus, balanced acid, soft tannins, and a long dry finish. Organic, Vegan "Heaven on Earth" indeed.

"Wine for the World is know for selecting producers with extremely high standards regarding the treatment of their employees. Bosman is the epitome of excellence in this category. Not only do they offer shares in the company to all of their staff members - including the vineyard workers, they sponsor their employees’ independent wine ventures. I believe I’ve tasted all of Bosman’s wines, and there are many, and I love them all. It feels good to support them as well. This Pinot Noir comes from the Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, or “Heaven on Earth,” in the Western Cape of South Africa. It’s pretty minty with layers of smoke, meat, white pepper, licorice, mocha, and is bursting with black cherry! Anything you cook that includes mushrooms will sing with this wine."
