This tasty Japanese Whisky distillery was established in 1946 and is a tiny facility with only 2 copper pot stills, 5 washbacks, and 1 mash tun. It tastes like stone fruit and custard with layers of fried dough, apples, citrus and baking spice, with bubblegum high tones and a smooth rich finish. It is produced in small quantities with no caramel coloring added.
