"Organic. 100% Chardonnay sourced from 3 of their favorite high-altitude sites in coastal California. The sources: 1) Wildcat Mountain: red volcanic soils atop an extremely windy, cool ridge overlooking Sonoma (35% of the blend), 2) Arrowhead Mountain: Old Wente vines planted directly into terraces of pure rock on the ridge that forms the Sonoma/Napa border (50% of the blend) and 3) Santa Cruz Mountains: old-vine, old Wente selection, propagated from David Bruce cuttings, planted on a steep, terraced mountaintop above Boulder Creek, CA (15% of the blend). Whole-cluster pressed and fermented with native yeast, then aged for 12 months in neutral French oak and an additional 6 months in stainless steel. No additives save for sulfur."
