Old vine (70+ years old) Tinta Carvalha, Bastardo (Trousseau), Tinta Gorda, Mourisco, and Tinta Amarela from Trás-os-Montes, Northern Portugal; medium plus bodied and dry, rustic and ripe with notes of Bing cherry, baking spice, and bleu cheese, with subtle oaky undertones, hints of vanilla, balanced acid, and soft dry tannins. Organic and only .2g SO2 added at bottling.
