"Hailing from Penedès, Spain, Finca Parera wines are produced by a group of farmers, winemakers, and agricultural engineers that all live together on a compound. They are extremely passionate about biodynamics, and are members of several organizations dedicated to promoting healthy biodiversity of the land. They farm fruit, olive trees, cereals, orchards, vineyards, and they’re avid beekeepers. El Clar is a blend of Xarel-Lo, Chardonnay, and Gewürztraminer, a motley crew if I may say so, and is a lovely example of an entry level skin contact wine, a.k.a. orange wine. I got notes of walnut skins, dried flowers, guava, baking spice, and bruised tropical and tree fruits. This wine is super food-friendly and would go well with a little spice. I had it with roasted chicken and root vegetables and it was what made me choose this wine for you! Drink it cool, but not too cold."
