"If a wine could be a boss, this wine would reign high. Made from 100% Garnatxa that is foot stomped, fermented, and aged all in the same amphora vessel. Someone actually climbs inside of it to stomp the grapes! This wine loves air, and beautiful notes of violets, cocoa, black fruit, and Cherry Pull ‘n’ Peel come through after a handful of minutes open. It has lingering notes of blackcurrant along with some citrus pith on the finish that lends strength and grip. The tannins are firm, as most amphora wines are, and while it’s only medium bodied the alcohol is quite high coming in at 15%. Tread carefully and consider having some food with this one. Burgers, steak, eggplant, pizza, and some meaty fish would be excellent with this wine, and if you can whip up some green sauce (think chimichurri) it would be heavenly. Also, this wine makes a lovely vase and just so happens to be the easiest bottle to clean."
